Sasha Bilar is a native Thai. She grew up in Bangkok where the Wat Bodhi temple is located. The Bodhi temple is considered the first public university of Thailand and is home to one of the earliest Thai Massage schools. She grew up in a family of healers. Her first teacher in Thai massage was her great grandmother, Mrs. Cloy Bodhi-Rak, who served in the palace during the reign of King Rama VI.
Sasha’s journey to becoming a Holistic Health Practitioner began after suffering a major automobile accident in 1989. Along her path towards healing after the accident, Sasha devoted herself to helping and healing others. Sasha understands the body and mind connection is an important part of healing.
After the Asian Tsunami of 2004, Sasha founded a humanitarian group called “Toys for Thailand” to help and heal orphans, abandoned and disadvantaged children.They provide tangible assistance, educational support, sustainable projects and children’s toys.
